THE CAWSEY LAW OFFICE
To bring this vision to life, we designed our office with the help of Red Deer-based company, Looker Office Furniture, to create a comfortable office with beautiful furniture. We decorated the space with plants from local florists, Calyx Floral Design and Florae, to maximize the office's abundance of natural light.
The biggest talking point at the office is our entryway moss wall, skillfully designed and installed by Forage + Design from Calgary. We also incorporated three preserved moss art pieces from GREENSTEMS, an artistic venture out of Vancouver to complement the moss wall.
To pay homage to our roots, our walls proudly display three pieces by Brad Holt, a Calgary-based artist renowned for his expertise in Western art.

JAMES CAWSEY
James's reputation is built on his methodical approach, providing high-quality services that clients can rely on. He takes pride in delivering exceptional results and remains dedicated to offering unparalleled legal support to his valued clientele.
James grew up on a hobby farm east of Red Deer. He attended the University of Alberta where he obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2007. James articled with a well-established Red Deer law firm and was called to the Alberta bar in 2008. He continued with the firm as an associate and joined the partnership in 2013. James left the firm in early 2021 to open his own office — Cawsey Law.
James practices exclusively as a solicitor, with a focus on the legal needs of owner-managed businesses and their shareholders. He represents a wide range of clients throughout a variety of industries, including oilfield servicing, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, professional services, real estate, retail, and hospitality.
